Ms. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural, licensed clinical social worker with over 13 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She's worked with a variety of populations, including LGBTQ+ people, substance addicts and victims of intimate partner violence. Since the beginning of 2019 the Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. The clinic now offers telehealth Behavioral Health services. Dr. Rivas has worked with postpartum and prenatal mothers for over a decade. She is an expert in trauma-informed treatment and also provides EMDR for adults. Also, she offers individual and group therapy, medication-assisted treatment as well as referrals to specialty services along with Women's support groups. Amanda is an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer, helping to find permanent homes for homeless animals. She is a firm believer in the mantra from Best Friends, "Save Them Everyone", and she's determined to transform Los Angeles into a city that doesn't kill animals.
